Traits
Shaped Pupil (Uncommon)
This trait allows for a Kiamara's pupil to be a shape other than a circle or slit.
Can be used in conjunction with the Pupil Shape Heterochromia trait.
Heterochromia (Uncommon)
This trait allows for the Iris of both eyes to be two different colours.
This can also effect different parts of the eyes if the Kiamara also has the Coloured Sclera, Lighter Pupil, and/or Shaped Pupil traits.
Multicoloured Eyes (Uncommon)
This trait allows for 2 or more colours to be present in the same Iris.
These can be completely different colours, such as blue and red, or different shades of the same colour.
This can appear as a gradient, patterned, or any other way you wish to depict it. The design in each eye must be symmetrical unless used in conjunction with the Heterochromia trait.
This can also effect different parts of the eyes if the Kiamara also has the Coloured Sclera and/or Shaped Pupil traits.
No Sclera (Rare)
Kiamaras with this trait have no scelra, only an iris and pupil.
This trait has different combinations and restrictions with other eye traits so please refer to the below list.
Can be used in conjunction with Heterochromia, Multicolored Eyes, Lighter Pupil, Shaped Pupil, Perm Crying, Colour Changing Eyes, Glowing Eyes, Oozing Eyes, Three Eyes, and Four Eyes
Can NOT be used in conjunction with Coloured Sclera, No Pupils, Void Eyes, and Elemental Eyes UNLESS using Heterochromia trait
Even if using Heterochromia, you may NOT use in conjunction with No Iris.
Coloured Sclera (Uncommon)
This trait allows the colour of the sclera (Eye Whites) to be any colour other than white or the default sclera colour on the bases provided.
This trait can also be used in conjunction with the Heterochromia and Multicoloured Eyes traits.
Lighter Pupil (Uncommon)
This pupil trait covers pupils that are lighter than the iris colour.
This can also be another colour that is lighter/brighter than the Iris.
If the No Iris trait is present, this trait only applies if used in conjunction with the Coloured Sclera Trait
Shaped Ears (Rare)
Kiamaras with this trait have ears that do not fit within the standard rounded or pointed ears.
This includes but is not limited to; Ears with extra long/curled tips, wavy ears, ears shaped like wings, ears with jagged curves
This trait only applies to the shape and any size, fluffier, flopped, etc, types of ears will need to be used in conjunction with the appropriate traits.
These can be any shape desired and can even be asymmetrical if you wish.
Can be used in conjunction with size traits.
These are examples of Shaped Ears that would be accepted

While the last two examples are more on the fence, they would still be considered shaped ears for the subtle curves on the first and the elongated ear tip that droops on the second.

Slightly Larger Ears (Uncommon)
Kiamaras with this trait have ears that are slightly larger than the average Kiamara's.
You can see how large this rarity allows ears to be by looking at our Sizing Guides on the public PSD line sets.
No Ears (Legendary)
Kiamaras with this trait have no external ears.
Instead it's similar to birds where there is a small, funnel-shaped openings on the sides of their heads, generally hidden beneath their fur/hair.
These openings do NOT need to be visible on the reference unless the users chooses it.
This does not render the Kiamara deaf in most cases.
2 Sets of Ears (Legendary)
Kiamaras with this trait have two sets of ears, with there being two on either side.
Any additional ear traits being used can affect either one or both sets of ears.
These ears can only go as long as the size trait attached to the ear allows.
Draconic Inner Ears (Very Rare)
Kiamaras with this trait have ears that have a shiny plating inside, similar to a Dragon's ears, with a minimum of 2 plates.
These plates must be defined as shiny or shaded .
The plates can be either shiny, metallic, or crystaline.
They cannot glow or sparkle unless used in conjunction with a sparkle or marking glow trait.

The above example would not be accepted for Draconic Inner Ears as while it does have defined lines, it does not have the proper shading or highlights.
This example would simply fall under common detailed inner ear (such as ridges).
Acceptable Example:
This above example would be accepted for Draconic Inner Ears as it has defined lines and is properly shaded.
Unique Ears (Very Rare)
Kiamaras with this trait have ears that do not resemble that of any living creature.
This trait only applies to the shape and any size, fluffier, flopped, etc, types of ears will need to be used in conjunction with the appropriate traits.
These can be any shape desired and can even be asymmetrical if you wish.
Can be used in conjunction with size traits.
Mammalian Ears (Rare)
Kiamaras with this trait have ears shaped like those of other Mammals that aren't present on canines or felines.
These ear shapes include; Bat, Rat, Horse, Cow, Hyena, etc and apply to the shape only, and things such as having them fluffier, flopped, bigger, etc, will need to be used in conjunction with those traits.
If not used in conjunction with a size trait, these ears must still fit inside the common-size box.
Can be asymmetrical.
Cannot be humanoid in shape.

Fluffier Ears (Uncommon)
Kiamaras with this trait have fluffier ears than the average Kiamara.
This trait applies to any part of the ears, including tufted bits on the tip similar to a lynx.

Elephant Ears (Very Rare)
Kiamaras with this trait have ears shaped like those of an Elephant.
This applies to the shape and things such as having them fluffier, flopped, bigger, etc, will need to be used in conjunction with those traits.
If not used in conjunction with a size trait, these ears must still fit inside the common-size box.
Can be asymmetrical.
Examples will be added soon c:
Artio Ears (Rare)
Kiamaras with this trait have ears shaped like those of mammals in the artiodactyla families, such as rabbits/hares, cows, horses, etc.
This applies to the shape and things such as having them fluffier, flopped, bigger, etc, will need to be used in conjunction with those traits.
If not used in conjunction with a size trait, these ears must still fit inside the common-size box.
Can be asymmetrical.
All Artio ears must follow a Figure 8 or Ampersand shape where the ear comes in near the base then out again. Here are some examples of this ear shape and what would be acceptable.
Shape should be visible regardless of any size, texture, directional, or flopped traits applied.
Hare/ Rabbit --- Equine/Deer --- Bovine

(Sizes are for examples only and depend on what size rarity you have)
Very Large Ears (Very Rare)
Kiamaras with this trait have ears that are very large in comparison to an average Kiamara's.
You can see how large this rarity allows ears to be by looking at our Sizing Guides on the public line sets.
Pointed/Rounded Ears (Common)
Kiamaras with this trait have ears that are standard rounded or pointed.
Sometimes, these ears can resemble other animals, including but not limited to; cat, dog, fox, horse, bunny, etc
This trait only applies to the shape and any size, fluffier, flopped, etc, types of ears will need to be used in conjunction with the appropriate traits.
Can be used in conjunction with size traits.
This trait is not required to be listed on a character unless obtained as a mutation in a breeding.
These are examples are to show common shape only, not size.

Directional Ears (Uncommon)
Kiamaras with this trait have ears that face forwards rather than the average Kiamara, whose ears face backwards.
This ear type can also work in conjunction with other traits, such as the flopped ear trait and ear size traits. If used with the former, it must be obvious this trait is used.
These ears must still remain within the Common Ear box unless used in conjunction with an ear size trait.
If used on its own:

If used in conjunction with the floppy ear trait:
Any other ear trait, such as size traits, fluffier ears, etc can still be attached to these ears, however, the flopped ear combined with the directional ear types have specific rules.
Click one of the above examples to go to the trait you would need to obtain the looks above.
Please note; the first example is to show shape only and would be bound by the size trait applied to the ear on length.
The directional x flopped ear combinations can be styled differently depending on whether you wish to go for a more canine-based floppy ear or a bunny-based floppy ear.

this is a good example of a bunny-type flopped directional ear. If the tip is pulled upwards, it would be facing forward due to the position in front of the cheek

Whilst the shape is certainly bunny-like, if the tip is pulled upwards the ear would be facing backwards due to the position behind the cheek. This does not meet the directional trait requirement.
