Usually I get my hooves painted in my flag's colors, rainbow, then have some glitter added into my mane. It's the one time of year when I really let myself cut loose. Normally, my job is quite demanding, and my polish and mane styling wouldn't hold up, so this is a real treat for me. One the treatment is done, I like to get some shaved ice! Lemon is my preferred flavor, but the strawberry is a close second. I hate cherry though! I usually eat the ice on a bench in my favorite park and watch the kia go by. It's interesting, people-watching. Especially during pride month. Sometimes I'll compliment someone's outfit if they have a cool fit going. After that, I head for the city square. The annual parade usually goes by there and it's a fun watch! I don't stay very long, as I have work in the morning, d but enough that I am able to enjoy the floats and dancers. I end the day with a favorite meal, shrimp scampi, and make my way back home. Its usually early enough to read a book before bed, which is a nice way to come down from all the excitement. Then I turn in, letting myself sleep easy after an eventful day. I'll likely attend some other small functions during the month, but it can be difficult to get the time off work, and I'm not much one for a party.
