The feeling of floating end of end for what feels like ages, but is really only a few moments, before being shot out of a rift is one you will likely never get used to. You land on your back staring up at a pale lavender sky, the device given to return you back to Solaria still tightly in your grasp. A voice calls out to you, though you don't understand their workds. As you sit up, you have to do a double-take as you are greeted by two figures.. though they look similar to some Solarians you've met, they are very different than those you're used two.

The two figures try to speak with you, seemingly switching through a few different languages. Though none of them seem to be one you know. The smaller of the pair digs through their bag and pulls out a small glowing rock, handing it to you. Once the rock is in your hands it glows faintly, becoming much warmer until a bright sigil is branded on your hand. The larger of the pair speaks again and this time, you understand them!

"Welcome to Gaia-2, traveler. Can't say we get usually get somany visitors that fall from the sky like you and the others that have popped up today. Thankfully, you landed here and not at one of the more hostile planets within the Ellasiaun system. You may call me Modi and my small companion here is Pexka. Come on, we're a good two days from the nearest outpost but we can show you the way. Or.. you can go exploring on your own.. but do be careful. Just because the people living here are peaceful doesn't mean the wildlife is the same."

Does your Solarian join Modi and Pexka in their travels to the outpost? Or do they go exploring on their own?

  • Do they trust Modi and Pexka enough to follow the pair to the outpost?
  • Maybe they decide they'd be better off relying on their own adventuring skills?
  • Perhaps they ask the pair for directions before going off on their own?
