Requires: Level 2 - Limited to once per Kiamara

Solarian Kiamaras are an emotional species, and as such mateships are formed between two to three Kiamaras at a time. These mateships are strong bonds, rendering the Kiamaras unable to break them as they devote their lives to their partners. Kiamaras from all corners of Solaria have often taken part in Mateship Ceremonies, with Kiamaras of all walks of life coming together to bond in harmony. These mateships often provide the benefits of their children holding a higher chance at traits seen more rarely in the species, should the parents have them too. It is said that a Mateship Ceremony unlocks this in the Kiamara's DNA. 

Mateships are permanent and should be carefully thought out before going through with the mateship as if you break a mateship, the Kiamara's DNA will no longer bond with their ex-mates, disallowing them to form a mateship between each other again down the line.

"Ah, I see that you have found a beloved or two to be with until the end of days. Forming a mateship is a testament to one's bond and love for another, and is held sacred within Solarian Society. Here in Solaria it is allowed for mateships to be formed with up to 3 'Maras at a time. You must all be sure of your decision before the Ceremony begins, as once a mateship is formed, any breakage of the Mateship will form a scar on one's soul, disallowing you to be mated to the same 'Mara, or 'Maras, again." 

What moment did your Kiamaras know they wished to be mated?

• In order to prove their devotion to one another, a Kiamara must share a special moment between the two/three.
• Was it on their first date with the Kia/s?
• Was it when they heard them snort for the first time whilst laughing?
• Maybe they woke up from a dream and just knew they were for them?
• Perhaps it was after their first argument?
• Did the others help them through a tough time?
  
  

NOTE: 
For the Mateship trial, you must do the Minimum requirements for all Kiamaras involved. This means each Kiamara must submit its own unique entry. You cannot copy and paste entries for each Kiamara.

Minimum Art Requirements:
Must at least be a halfbody of the Kiamara you are entering the prompt for. Must at least show a headshot of each other Kiamara involved. Must be at least a coloured sketch of the Kiamaras. Must show the emotions the Kiamaras were feeling during the memory.

Minimum Writing Requirements:
Must be at least 400 words in length. Must mention Each Kiamara's name. Must mention the location the event occurred and the weather that day. Must have at least one talking moment between all Kiamaras involved. 

Reward: 
Your Kiamaras involved in a mateship gain a +5 Roll to every trait in Breedings together. 
Cannot breed with Kiamaras outside of the mateship.

Solaria is home to locations and terrains of all kinds. Rocky Mountains, river valleys, forests of plenty, and thriving towns. Each and every setting in Solaria has its own perks, like being close to the ocean or being in a town ready to trade at a moment's notice, so finding the ideal setting is important for one's wellbeing.

Homes don’t necessarily mean four walls, a roof, and a door. Homes are what we make of them. We keep trinkets, odds and ends, family and friendship within our homes and they are our safe places.

"Hey again! It’s just me. I know things have been wild around here recently, so many changes. When things are moving too quickly for me I like to sit back with my feet up, steaming hot coffee and relax in my lounge. Speaking of lounges, have you managed to settle in okay with everything going on around here? I know with all the Kiamara’s coming through rifts has really shaken things up but are you finding things okay? I’m just making sure with all the hustle and bustle everyone has a place to call their own, y’know!? Let me know if you need help finding anywhere, plenty of properties on the bulletin board recently!”

Where does your Kiamara live and what does their home look like?

• Do they live in the vibrant city of Pandrea?

Minimum Art Requirements: 
Must at least be a sketched half body with flat colour of the Kiamara. Must have a defined background. Must show wherein Solaria your Kiamara lives.

Minimum Writing Requirements:
Must be at least 500 words in length. Must mention the Kiamara's name. Must describe your Kiamara’s living space in detail and anyone they live with. Must describe why they chose their home.

Everyone needs a friend, someone to rely on and someone who always has your back, someone to always bail you out of a situation if you need it. Good friends can become best friends by sticking beside you through the easy and especially the hard times.

Friendship bonds are strong, and although they may not last forever, the memories you create with the people you love along the way shape us into who we are.

"Solaria can be confusing at times, and sometimes it can be downright dangerous with all this Calamity malarky, that’s why it’s important to always keep your friends close. Like me! I don’t have too many friends, but you won’t ever catch me leaving the house without Zip and Zop. People seem to think friends need to be other Kiamaras… But hey! Friends can be whoever you want them to be. I had this uh, “friend” who was best friends with a rock when I was, uh, THEY were younger… Anyway… Having Zip & Zop is cool and all but nothing beats talking to another 'Mara, heading out for a walk with them, or heading down to the Plaza in Pandrea and sampling the goodies. Have you ever had another Kiamara you'd consider a friend help you with something?

What problem do you need to overcome and how does your friend help you?

• Perhaps your friend helped you through a tough life event?
• Did someone throw away an object you hold dear and your friend got it back?
• Your friend bailed you out of an uncomfortable situation?
• Did you thank your friend for helping you? How did you thank them?
